According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor has been terminated by his agent and manager and dismissed from Showtime's "The Chi" and the upcoming Netflix flick, "Desperados," following multiple claims of misconduct.

Tiffany Boone, who plays Mitchell’s girlfriend on “The Chi,” and several other actresses on the show had issues with Mitchell, a source told the publication. Boone repeatedly accused Mitchell of sexual harassment. She also eventually began inviting her fiance, Marque Richardson of “Dear White People,” to set when she shot scenes with Mitchell, because she felt unsafe.

The source told The Hollywood Reporter that Boone informed producers at Fox 21, which produces“The Chi,” she could no longer work with Mitchell. He was initially retained while she was released at her request.

Mitchell, who starred in “Straight Outta Compton” and “Mudbound,” also lost his spot on “Desperados.” He had not started filming when he was replaced by Lamorne Morris a few weeks ago. A source told The Hollywood Reporter producers received “specific information which was investigated immediately and thoroughly and dealt with as quickly as possible.”

Mitchell’s former co-stars, Nasim Pedrad and Anna Camp, reportedly also had complaints about him.

Showtime, Netflix, Fox 21, Boone and Mitchell’s former representatives declined to comment to the Hollywood Reporter upon request.
