The CBS morning anchor misplaced her wallet on a recent Delta flight. After looking for it in cars and store aisles, her assistant, Joseph Zambrano, decided to check King’s direct messages on Instagram.

Her assistant found a message from a Delta flight attendant who had King’s wallet. The journalist took a screenshot of the exchange and shared it to Instagram.

In the caption, she wrote, "Yes angels exist & her name is ZINA & she works for @delta ... it was my asst @jznotthatjayz idea to check DM Instagram (which i never do) THERE IT WAS! As Joseph pointed out he's a genius ... thank you zina (and Joseph) !"

Delta left a comment under King’s post, writing, “So happy to hear that Zina was able to get your wallet back to you, Gayle! It is always a rewarding feeling when our customers appreciate our efforts. Thank you for sharing this wonderful experience with us – ah, the power of social media!”

As for Taylor, she misplaced her earbud while on a Delta flight. But the captain came to her rescue, and she took to Twitter to thank him.

She said, “it’s pretty great when you lose a damb earbud deep in the mechanical workings of your seat, & the damb CAPTAIN, who just flew you across the damb country, comes outta the cockpit with flashlight & screwdriver & a smile, and FINDS it for you! Capt Eric Yaw .”

In a statement to USA Today, Delta said its employees "are truly what set our airline apart and it's always nice to hear from customers when our efforts go above and beyond expectations."
