A New Zealand dad is showing his love for his daughter thanks to a new, nontraditional tattoo.
The ink may not have a heart, but it shows how big of a heart Alistair Campbell has when it comes to his daughter. He received his first tattoo, an image that matches his daughter's cochlear implant, The Telegraph reported.
The day before Charlotte Campbell's operation, Alistair showed up, proud of his new tribute to his little girl.
A photograph of the father and daughter was posted on Facebook and has gone viral online.

"We have a close father-daughter bond, and I thought it would be quite fitting for me to do that," Alistair said. "As she grows older, she'll understand the love behind it."
Charlotte was 4 years old when she had her first device implanted to help her hear in her left ear. Recently, she had a second implanted on her right ear. She is now 6 years old.
