Cheese challenge: Here’s why people are throwing cheese at babies
Many of us were taught not to play with our food, but several adults are ignoring the rule to participate in the cheese challenge.

The weird prank requires parents to throw slices of cheese at their babies, document the reactions and upload it to social media.
It all reportedly started when a Facebook user shared a baby getting “cheesed.” He captioned it, “You asked for it, here it is! Attack of the cheese.”
The clip garnered more than 40 million views in about a week before it was deleted.
Pretty soon, others started to join in, and tons of videos began to surface online. Several of the little ones looked confused or surprised by the cheese attack.
Here is one of my baby really not enjoying this new cheese challenge thing. I regret ever deciding to be a part of it. pic.twitter.com/ZDGSOAIv0Q

On the other hand, a couple of people didn’t think the cheese challenge was funny. They called it “pathetic” and “stupid.”
I love a prank as much as anybody but I cannot get myself to throw cheese at my adorable, unsuspecting baby who has all the hope and trust in the world in me

Unpopular opinion: the cheese challenge isn’t funny to me at all. I’m all for jokes & a good time but never would I want my child to feel nervous or on edge that the person she has the most trust in (myself & her father) would throw something at her & make her question my actions

This 'cheese challenge' thing is really pathetic. It might be alright if it was even a tiny bit funny but it's just the latest and most ridiculous example of how people are morons and social media is the worst.

The #cheesechallenge is stupid. If you think it's funny to toss cheese on a toddler should you even have kids?

So some opted to try the cheese challenge on adults or their pets.
