The giraffe went into labor Saturday morning and delivered her baby just after 12:40 p.m. The birth took place at Animal Adventure Park in Harpursville, New York and was live streamed on social media.

The calf is April's second since arriving at Animal Adventure Park in 2015.

In April 2017, more than a million of people around the world tuned into the much-anticipated live birth of April's fourth calf, Tajiri. For months, fans watched live streams daily as they waited for Tajiri's arrival.

Animal Adventure Park announced April was pregnant again in July 2018, and supporters were once again able to follow the mother’s pregnancy online.

Now the keepers will be deciding a name.

April's fourth calf was named Tajiri, which means both 'hope' and 'confidence' in Swahili,  after an online voting contest.
