World's largest passenger jet welcomed to Hartsfield

The plane arrives from Seoul Friday morning. Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and City of Atlanta dignitaries as well as Korean Air officials celebrated the arrival of Korean Air's Airbus A380, the world's largest passenger aircraft, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a water cannon salute Friday, September 6, 2013. Following the ceremony, guests were invited to an in-flight tour of airbus A380. Airbus A380 highlights include an exclusive upstairs prestige class, a duty-free showcase and three bars. The plane has seating for 407 passengers. Korean Air will operate the Airbus A380 between Atlanta and Asia on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
