Drinking was involved in a Lake Lanier boating accident that injured four people Sunday evening, according to reports.

Christina Jennings, 39, of Atlanta was arrested and charged with boating under the influence, Georgia Department of Natural Resources law enforcement Capt. Thomas Barnard told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The boat she was operating collided with another boat just after dark, authorities said.

“This was a T-bone, type situation,” Barnard said.

All four people on the boat Jennings hit were injured, with the most serious injury being a broken leg, authorities said.

Three of those injured boaters were taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Forsyth County Fire Division Chief Kevin Wallace told The AJC.

Neither Jennings, nor her passenger were hurt, authorities said.

Jennings is being held at the Forsyth County jail.
