A 19-year-old Cobb County woman is accused of stabbing her stepfather several times in arm, head and back, according to police.

Shaquioa Chantres Crawford, of Powder Springs, was arrested late Sunday after 51-year-old Vince Anderson was spotted walking along Powder Springs Road bleeding and attempting to flag down motorists for help, Major Matt Boyd with Powder Springs police said Tuesday afternoon.

When officers arrived, Anderson told them he had been stabbed by his stepdaughter, Boyd said. Anderson had numerous stab wounds and had walked several hundred feet from the home where the alleged attack occurred, according to police.

Crawford was arrested around 11:30 p.m., charged with aggravated assault and booked into the Cobb County jail, records show. She remained Monday in jail, where she was being held on $20,000 bond.

Anderson was transported to WellStar Cobb Hospital, where he was treated and released, Boyd said.
