The West End MARTA station was temporarily closed Sunday morning due to a suspicious package.

Roads around the station, located on Lee Street, were blocked around 10:30 a.m. But everything was back to normal shortly after noon, officials said.

MARTA officials said the suspicious item was removed, but declined to say what the package contained.
