The first obituary for the 55-year-old, who died of  cancer, was the one written by his wife, Bearetta Harrison Black. The second was written by Princess Hall, according to The PhillyVoice.

The PhillyVoice reported that Greenidge Funeral Homes, where Black's funeral will be held Sunday, said the two obituaries were placed because "the wife wanted it one way, and the girlfriend wanted it another way," and everyone knew that it would be the case.

Although it may seem like it may cause friction at the funeral, the fact that the funeral home said everyone already expected Black's wife and girlfriend would write the obituary may mean all will be well.

In addition to his wife and girlfriend, Black is survived by a son, Jazz Black, six siblings and other family and friends, according to the obituary.
