Spring storms have been pounding northeast Texas this week, and residents are getting creative when it comes to protecting their vehicles from hail damage.

Blankets, mattresses and bubble wrap could be seen adorning cars and trucks in Texas, to avoid damage from golf ball-size hail.

Texans have a clear message for Mother Nature: “Hail no!”
