If walking through the airport is too slow for you and those moving sidewalks aren't around enough, one inventor thinks a motorized suitcase is the answer.

Mashable reported that Modobag is a rideable suitcase that aims to get people and their bags to their gate with speed.

According to inventor Kevin O'Donnell, the bag is three times faster than walking.

O'Donnell also said the bags are TSA and FAA compliant, but in practice, that may vary once a passenger gets to the airport.

The bag has two USB charging ports and can reach up to 8 miles an hour with a 6 mile riding range.

But the bag itself isn't the lightest of the bunch, coming in at 19 pounds, which will only increase when it's packed.

Mashable reported that the company tried to fund the suitcase with a Kickstarter campaign, but it didn't raise enough money.

Now it has moved to an Indiegogo campaign, which has a flexible goal meaning the campaign will get all the finds raised even if it does not meet its goal.

The latter may not be a concern, though. Seventy backers have raised nearly $70,000 for the bag.
