In its stomach were two golf balls that the snake surely thought were chicken eggs.

Veterinarians say they were able to cut the foreign objects out of the snake with few complications, but they are monitoring the snake for infection.

No word on when the snake will be released by the center.

The GSTC was created in 2007 by the Jekyll Island Authority with the goal of protecting and conserving wildlife in Georgia.
