A Papa John’s Pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint of his pizza order by a man riding a scooter, according to a Dayton police report.

The driver told police that the address he was sent to with a delivery couldn’t be found at about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, so he went to the house next door and pulled into the driveway. The driver said that house looked vacant. He tried to call the number on the order, but it “was a bad number.”

At this point, the driver said a man pulled up behind him on a black scooter with blue lights on it. The man had a black gun with an extended clip strapped to his waist. The victim said he told the man he didn’t have any money and the robber said he didn’t want money, just the order.

The victim said the man got away with a large, double-cheese pizza, an order of buffalo wings and a liter of Sierra Mist.

After the man took the order, he went to the rear of the residence, and the driver went back to the store to call police.

The suspect was described as a black male, dark-skinned, with no shirt and wearing shorts.
