A man who looks like Santa Claus drew attention to himself when he was driving the wrong way on a street.
KREM reported that Santa Claus is an Idaho man who was arrested Thursday.
Santa Claus is his legal name.
Claus was arrested for a DUI. His charges were later reduced to misdemeanor reckless driving.
The officer who arrested the 67 year old said in the police report that “the vehicle was still in the wrong lane of travel.”
Police said they could smell the alcohol on Claus’ breath when he spoke to them. Records said two breath test samples read .130 and .119.
He admitted to having three or four beers at a nearby restaurant, and police noted in the report that Claus was "cooperative throughout."
