A reporter in Australia found herself as the subject of a viral video after her reaction to a parrot landing on her shoulder.

The Huffington Post reported that Brittany Kleyn, a reporter for Australian Network Nine, was moments away from going live on Wednesday when a parrot, named Lola, surprised her by landing on her shoulder.

Kleyn, standing outside the Southport Courthouse on Queensland’s Gold Coast, began to spin in a circle and scream for help.

Attempts to shoo the bird away were unsuccessful.

After telling her cameraman, who she refers to as Burger, that the situation wasn’t funny and asking him to remove the parrot, the cameraman stepped in to save the day.

The scene not only led to a viral video but also a reunion.

Lola had flown away from her owner, Michelle Mills, on Tuesday.

Mills was informed that her bird had made an appearance on TV and contacted the station.

Kleyn was able to help deliver the parrot to a relieved Mills.

This time, when Mills put the bird on her shoulder, Kleyn was more receptive.
