The video was captured by a WSOC-TV viewer late last week.

The goat managed to jump the median, run across all lanes while avoiding oncoming traffic during rush hour, troopers said.

Officers wanted to speak with the owner to make sure it didn’t happen again and to see how the goat was being kept.

The owner had to apply for a permit, which was granted.
