Man wields samurai sword inside NYC Apple Store

A bizarre incident Friday afternoon at the Fifth Avenue Apple Store left customers and staff shaken.
According to FOX5NY, a man walked into the store and threatened to commit suicide with the samurai sword he was wielding. He waved the sword in the air and swung it around before dropping it, according to witnesses.
The incident was captured on store surveillance video.
The man was confronted by off-duty police officers providing security and ran out of the store. Officers were able to subdue the man without incident. He was transported to Bellevue Hospital.
