Steve Wescott says he hopes to raise awareness for an orphanage in Nairobi, Kenya by walking his pet from Seattle to New York City.

Over the past few days, Wescott and his goat have been making their way up to Dayton from the southern Miami Valley.

On Sunday, the pair were spotted somewhere in Franklin.

On Monday, someone noticed them in Springboro.

The two were seen in downtown Centerville on Tuesday.

By Thursday, Wescott and his pet had made it into downtown Dayton.
