A man was arrested after officials said he damaged a McDonald’s in North Carolina.

Police responded to reports of a man was darting in and out of traffic. They were then called to a nearby McDonald’s because of a disturbance believed to be involving the same man.

Employees at the McDonald’s told police that a man had jumped a counter and damaged the store. Police said Quentin Lamar Lipscomb caused $4,400 in damage to the landing dock, destroyed $800 of food and caused $170 of damage to a cookies stand.

According to arrest warrants, Lipscomb entered the restaurant and began shouting insults and curses at the customers and employees.

He also tried to bite the arm of the officer who tried to arrest him, warrants stated.

Lipscomb was to be in court at 2 p.m. Friday after being charged with damaging property while intoxicated and disruptive, two counts of assaulting an officer, assault and battery, and resisting a public officer.
