The intruder - a 180-pound male deer - was still inside when officers arrived. It had trapped itself in a restroom at the rear of the store.

The broken window at the front of the store and the trail of blood on the floor left little doubt as to the point of entry.

Officers were able to let the deer get out of the store, but it caused several hundred dollars in damages.
