Grouper are notoriously known as bottom feeders, eating whatever they can scavenge on the sea floor, but they can also quite cunning in their search for food.
The internet is littered with videos of monster grouper stealing fish off the hooks of unsuspecting anglers and this video is no different.
National Geographic posted the video to their YouTube channel last week.
This video is shot from the perspective of a spear fisherman swimming along the floor of the ocean. It shows him using a spear gun to catch several fish and almost every time, a grouper comes out of nowhere and steals the fish.
You can hear the diver as he becomes more aggravated with the thieving fish.
In just over four days, the video has been viewed around 750,000 times.
