Dave Riggs showed off an amazing shot of the shark, posting on Facebook: "This is how a great white 'sniffs'. We must protect this magnificent creature!"
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Riggs said the shark was "extremely inqusitive of what we were and what we were doing."

"She was around 15 foot long, and wasn't being aggressive, believe it or not, but certainly looks like it in that image," Riggs told ABC Goldfields.
