A Florida woman was between a rock and a hard place late last month after police said she reported her trusty boulder missing from the front porch.

The Northwest Florida Daily News reported the Niceville-area woman reported her pet rock stolen on Aug. 22 and said it was taken from her porch. Police said she didn't know where she had last seen the rock and requested "increased security" in her area following the theft.
