The Arizona Game & Fish Department shared a recent video taken by retired biologist Randy Babb at Picacho Peak State Park, the The Arizona Republic reported.

The reptile, a sidewinder also known as a horned rattlesnake, slowly devours the iguana. When the video begins, the iguana's tail and hind legs are sticking out of the snake's mouth, KNXV reported.

It's only a 56-second video, but it sure is painful to watch. The snake, a pit viper, has small horns above each eye, according to Brittanica.com. It moves in an S-shape across the desert, the Republic reported.
