It's been nearly two months since a 34-year-old Marietta man was found shot to death at a southwest Atlanta apartment complex. Today, the U.S. Marshals Service announced two suspected gang members are wanted in connection with the incident and the agency needs your help finding them.
Demetruis ‘Mollyworld’ Fortson, 19, and Jeremy ‘Stray J’ Southern, 24, are believed to be hiding in Decatur in the vicinity of Interstate 20 and Candler Road, U.S. Marshals Service spokesman Gavin Duffy said in a statement.
Both should be considered armed and dangerous, he said.
About 1:30 p.m. March 26, Nicholas Hagood was shot and killed during an apparent armed robbery at the Windsor Square Townhomes on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Atlanta police Capt. Paul Guerrucci said at the time. Hagood was shot at least once in the chest and died on the scene in the parking lot, Guerrucci said.
Fortson and Southern “are believed to have executed Hagood,” Duffy said today.
Anyone with information about Fortson and Southern is asked to call the Crime Stoppers Atlanta tip line at 404-577-8477.
