Three Atlanta carjacking suspects face a bevy of charges after being accused of taking a Yukon and then wrecking it during a police chase Friday evening on Jonesboro Road.

Two of the suspects were taken to Grady Hospital where they were listed in stable condition, Atlanta police reported Saturday.

Police said the suspects are Juilen Maurice Fowler, 25, Clifford Jacolby Beck, 30, and Roger N. Tucker, 20. All three face charges of hijacking a vehicle, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and theft by taking. Fowler and Beck each face charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Fowler is also accused of hit and run, driving on the wrong side of the road and giving false information to police.

Police had been on the lookout after a white GMC Yukon with a dealer drive-out tag was believed to be stolen around noon Friday. About six and a half hours later, units spotted the vehicle, according to police.The driver stopped the vehicle for officers, but then drove off again, according to Atlanta police. The Yukon was driven north on Jonesboro Road and crossing over I-285 when it went into oncoming traffic. It collided with two other vehicles head-on, according to police spokesman Officer John Chafee.Three occupants of the two vehicles not related to the pursuit were injured and taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. One suspect was ejected from the SUV and suffered serious injuries.Police reported a weapon was found in the SUV.
