A father of four has been identified as the man killed in a robbery at a College Park gas station Friday.

Channel 2 Action News reported that family members of Torrez Rice identified him as the man who was robbed and gunned down at the gas station. Rice had just purchased a new car when he stopped at the gas station, according to Channel 2 reports.

Police have yet to release the identity of the victim. Witnesses told police the man and a passenger had pulled up to a set of pumps at the Exxon gas station on Roosevelt Highway when they were approached by two men. Rice’s family told Channel 2 the passenger was able to escape but the men shot and killed Rice. The two unknown assailants are wanted on charges of robbery and homicide, police said.
