Fulton County police need your help finding two people who sped away from an Old National Highway restaurant moments after a fatal shooting.

About 3:50 a.m. Saturday, a woman was struck and killed after a shooting in the parking lot outside El Nopal Mexican Restaurant, Fulton County police spokeswoman Det. Melissa Parker said in an emailed statement. Two unidentified men fled the scene in a silver or gray Pontiac Grand Am with a broken front passenger’s door window, she said.

Those men, who were captured on restaurant surveillance cameras, are persons of interest in the shooting, Parker said. One has dreadlocks. The other has an afro.

When officers got to El Nopal, they found the woman in the parking lot, Parker said. The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the woman as 31-year-old Tequilla Laye.

Police have not yet released any other details about the shooting.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Det. R. Peace at 404-613-9181.
