Two people were killed Saturday morning in separate wrecks in Cherokee County, authorities said.

The first crash happened about 6:15 a.m. when a Hyundai left the roadway in a curve on Arnold Mill Road at North Arnold Mill Road, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected and died at the scene.

His name was being withheld until relatives could be notified.

About 11:15 a.m., a motorcyclist died in a collision with a concrete mixing truck on Arnold Mill Road at O’Hara Road.

According to the State Patrol, the motorcycle crossed the center line and hit the truck head-on, and the motorcyclist was killed on impact.

The driver and a passenger in the concrete truck were uninjured. The identity of the motorcyclist was not immediately available.

The two wreck scenes are about a mile apart, east of Woodstock.
