The presidential election might be over, but that didn’t stop one man from setting fire to a family’s Donald Trump flag before riding away on a 4-wheeler, authorities said.

The incident occurred early Jan. 17, three days before Joe Biden’s inauguration, Henry County police said in a Facebook post. Now, investigators hope surveillance photos will help identify the man.

The suspect riding the ATV arrived at the home on River Point Drive about 1:45 a.m., police said in the post.

“He vandalized the front of the home with spray paint and then lit the homeowner’s ‘TRUMP’ flag on fire using some type of accelerant from a chemical sprayer,” authorities said. The flag was attached to the home and there were people inside at the time.

Anyone who recognizes the man from the security photos is asked to call detectives at 470-367-3864 or Henry County’s non-emergency dispatch line at 770-957-9121.
