A 6-year-old Florida girl who was shot Tuesday night at a Palm Bay apartment complex has died.
The child was shot about 5 p.m. Tuesday, according to police.
Police said they “believe that this was a tragic accident involving siblings,” and the investigation continues.
The shooting happened at an unnamed apartment complex on Washington Street. Palm Bay is the most populous city in Brevard County, Florida, which sits on the Atlantic coast between Melbourne and Port St. Lucie.
