Attention, sinkhole-weary commuters in Roswell: All lanes are open, city officials said Saturday.

"All lanes are open at this time" on Atlanta Street and Oak Street, the Roswell 911 Center said in an alert.

The sinkhole was first repaired in August, but the hole on Highway 9 resurfaced early in November.

The cause of the sinkhole was an old, unmarked storm drain 20 feet below the road that rusted and collapsed, the city said. Roswell’s transportation department worked with the Georgia Department of Transportation on repairs.

Two lanes were open during the work.
