A pickup truck crashed into a DeKalb County business early Monday and took down some power lines.

Business owner Wayne Smith said the driver was speeding when she crossed the median and hit G&W Properties Group, a trucking company in the 3400 block of Moreland Avenue near Conley.

Smith said the driver clipped a guide wire, went across the business’ parking lot and crashed into a tire building on the same property.

The crash also damaged an air-conditioning unit, Smith said.

The driver, however, got out of the vehicle and walked away.

The woman was checked out as a precaution, Channel 2 Action News reported.

No other injuries were reported.
