MARTA’s Gold line has reopened after a large fallen tree shut the route down north of the Lenox Station for around three hours.

The tree fell between the Brookhaven and Lenox stations and cut power to the rail.

A bus bridge was in effect from Lenox to Doraville, serving all stations in between during the route’s closure.

MARTA spokeswoman Stephany Fisher said the Red line was also delayed. She added that no one was injured and no passengers were stuck on trains.
