The Fox Theatre has reopened after a damaged gas line was repaired, officials said Friday afternoon.

The theater and attached businesses were evacuated earlier, and vehicle and pedestrian traffic was affected, Atlanta Fire Sgt. Cortez Stafford said in an email to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Atlanta Gas Light helped with repairing the gas line, which was damaged by a construction crew.
