One person was ejected and another person was trapped when a truck crashed in Cherokee County, an official said Tuesday.

Both people were taken to hospitals, sheriff’s spokeswoman Marianne Kelley said. No information was released on their conditions.

Fire crews earlier worked to free the trapped person, Kelley said.

The crash was on Trinity Church Road near Wrights Mill Road.

Kecole and Kemeca Dukes could be sent back to prison for selling crack cocaine. The twins, 40, of Gainesville, have multiple convictions for distributing the substance. Kemeca pleaded guilty and Kecole was found guilty in late March 2018.
