Part of Roswell Road in Sandy Springs closed due to gas leak

May 19, 2017Hours after a gas leak forced officials to close Roswell Road between Hammond and Carpenter drives in Sandy Springs, the road remains closed.
There is no estimated time of completion for the repair, an official with Atlanta Gas Light said about 8:15 p.m.
Lake Forrest Drive is the recommended alternate, officials said.
