A single-car crash on I-85 North in Gwinnett County killed a 24-year-old passenger Monday morning, police said.

The accident happened about 4:30 a.m. just north of Old Peachtree Road.

Kristina McConnell of Auburn died on the scene.

The driver, Kenya Renee Latimer, 23, of Lawrenceville, was charged with first-degree vehicular homicide, DUI, reckless driving and failure to maintain lane, police said.

No other details were released.
