Pedestrian injured after being hit by car on I-285 in DeKalb
The interstate was shut down as authorities responded to the crash Thursday afternoon.

A pedestrian is in critical condition after being hit by a car on I-285 Thursday afternoon.
The crash, which led to a multivehicle collision, happened just south of the I-85 entrance ramps, DeKalb County police said in a tweet.
The victim was taken to a hospital, police spokeswoman Michaela Vincent said. No other information has been released.
