An unknown suspect got away with more than $25,000 from McKendrick’s Steakhouse in Dunwoody Thursday morning.

A man had just returned from the bank to the restaurant located in 4000 block of Ashford Dunwoody Road and had a bag of the restaurant’s money, at which time an unidentified man approached him from behind with a large silver handgun, according to Dunwoody police.

The suspect took the bag containing $26,400 from the victim and jumped into a car, where a second suspect was inside and the two drove away. Police reported the vehicle is a silver medium sized four-door sedan with dark tinted windows.

The suspect was wearing a black mask, a black short sleeved shirt, white gloves, dark jeans and black sneakers, according to police.
