3. Cobb County cop to African American: 'I don't care about your people.'

Officer Maurice Lawson, who was accused of profiling County Commissioner Lisa Cupid, was also involved in a traffic stop last month in which he told the African-American driver: "I don't care about your people." 5. New Syrian refugee family arrives in Georgia despite state's objections

Mohammad, Ebtesam and their 4-year-old son arrived in the Atlanta area as the first Syrian refugees to relocate to Georgia from their war-torn country since Gov.
