A: Jones' No. 10 has been retired throughout the Braves' minor league system, public relations coordinator Mackenzie Anderson told Q&A on the News in an email. She wrote that the organization pulled the number before this season, so no Braves minor leaguer currently wears No. 10. The Braves retired Jones' number on June 28. He joined Hank Aaron (44), Bobby Cox (6), Tom Glavine (47), Greg Maddux (31), Eddie Mathews (41), Dale Murphy (3), Phil Niekro (35), John Smoltz (29) and Warren Spahn (21). Jackie Robinson's No. 42 is retired by all major league teams.
Q: Why are we seeing reruns of “Doonesbury?” Rick Redfern’s son wrote and supposedly got millions for his fantasy books several years ago. Why are we seeing it again? That storyline doesn’t fit with the other characters’ current storylines (Doonesbury’s daughter’s marriage and pregnancy).

A: "Doonesbury" is on hiatus while author Garry Trudeau takes a sabbatical from his comic strip to work on "Alpha House," a scripted live-action series about Capitol Hill that will be available on Amazon.com. "Doonesbury" reruns began June 10 and will continue through Labor Day. "Alpha House" is described as a political comedy that "centers on the lives of four Republican senators who share a residence," The Washington Post reported. The pilot was made available in April.
