Q: How can I get the state to mail me Georgia income tax forms?
–F.J. Cook, Tucker
A: The Georgia Department of Revenue is no longer printing or mailing income tax booklets and forms as a cost-saving measure, spokesman William Gaston told Q&A on the News in an email. This applies to the entire state, and the change took place this tax season.
“Taxpayers who do not have easy internet access may visit the closest DOR regional office to obtain a booklet or forms,” Gaston wrote.
Addresses for regional offices are on the revenue department's website (dor.georgia.gov/locations/regional-office).
