A: An 18-year-old, who had been reported missing, died from a self-inflicted gunshot, a spokesman for the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety told Q&A on the News. The body was found in a wooded area near the Alpharetta Greenway south of Kimball Bridge Road on Dec. 15.
Q: What is the status of Warren Jeffs, the leader of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints?

A: Jeffs, the head of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (FLDS), a polygamist sect, is serving life plus 20 years in a prison near Palestine, Texas, for sexually assaulting two girls, who were both underage brides. He gained national attention in 2006, when the FBI put him on its 10 Most Wanted List for arranging marriages between his followers and underage girls. He was arrested in August 2006, convicted as an accomplice to rape in 2007 (it was overturned in 2010) and convicted on two counts of aggravated sexual assault on two girls – one 12 and one 15 — in 2011. Jeffs recovered from a hunger strike later that year and had his phone privileges revoked for a time in early 2012 for using a phone call to preach a sermon to his followers on Christmas in 2011.
