Q: The SEC Championship game between Georgia and Alabama came down to the last play. Georgia's pass was intended for the end zone but was tipped at the line of scrimmage. Who is he? — Jerry Schwartz, Alpharetta
A: Alabama linebacker C.J. Mosley tipped Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray's pass, causing it to be deflected to receiver Chris Conley, who caught it on the 5-yard line to end the SEC Championship game on Saturday at the Georgia Dome. Georgia coaches and Murray have said he was throwing the pass to receiver Malcolm Mitchell, who ran a route to the end zone. Mosley finished with seven tackles in the game and leads Alabama with 99 tackles this season. Alabama (12-1) defeated Georgia 32-28 and will play Notre Dame (12-0) in the BCS National Championship game on Jan. 7. Georgia (11-2) will play Nebraska (10-3) in the Capital One Bowl on Jan. 1.
