A chicken in every pot? Tink Nathan wants roadkill at every barbecue.

According to a NBC news report, Nathan is a Republican who is running for a seat in the Texas House of Representatives. On his campaign website, Nathan states he wants to revamp the Texas Wildlife Code to allow roadkill to be used for human consumption. The practice was banned in 2007. Nathan, an avid hunter and NRA member, is founder of the Tink's deer scent company and operates a TV production company that sponsors hunting enthusiast shows.

In addition to fighting for citizens’ rights to roadkill, Nathan supports a state ban on gay marriage, wants to strengthen border security and is in favor of a limited government.

The Tink Nathan campaign is based out of Center Point, a community northwest of San Antonio. His campaign website motto is, “Don’t send another lawyer to Austin.”
