Allen Lee Auston, 29, is charged with human trafficking of a minor, aggravated promotion of prostitution and compelling prostitution, the newspaper reported.

Police said they discovered Auston in his motel room Thursday during a routine medical call, along with the teen, another woman and a 2-year-old child, KPRC reported.

The girl attempted to give a false name, but deputies said they could tell she had been coached not to speak out against Auston, KHOU reported.

“Understand (that) our human trafficking folks deal with this more than a regular deputy would," Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman told the television station. "After they developed a bond and they talked to her, the longer they talked to her, the more they got the truth out of her. I can tell you her parents are very relieved to have her rescued."

The teen was taken to a hospital for a medical assessment before she was transferred to Harris County Juvenile probation, the Chronicle reported.
