A teenager was shot in the leg while attempting to sell his iPhone Friday afternoon near Stone Mountain, police said.

The teen, whose name was not released, was driven by a parent to a home in the 4500 block of To Lani Trail, according to Mekka Parish, spokeswoman for DeKalb County police. There, three suspects got out of a car and stole the teen’s phone before shooting him in the leg, Parish said.

The teen was transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injures.

Police were called to the home about 3 p.m. The search continued late Friday for the suspects.
