Update: Schenectady High School principal Diane Wilkinson and her chihuahua Vivienne joined student Draven Rodriguez for a new group photo that has made this story go viral all over again. Read the original story below.

A high school senior from New York wants his classmates to remember him.

If the school honors his unusual yearbook photo request, there is no way they will be able to forget him.

Or his cat. Or the lasers.

That’s right, Schenectady High School senior Draven Rodriguez wants the yearbook to include a professional-quality photograph of himself, with his cat, Mr. Bigglesworth, surrounded by blue and pink lasers.

As reported by Gawker, Rodriguez has already started an online petition to have the epic photo included in the yearbook, though school officials have not said they will ban the photo outright.

A school district spokesperson did say that the photo Rodriguez wants in the yearbook will not be allowed in the portraits section, but may be allowed in other sections of the yearbook.

Principal Wilkinson showed her support for Rodriguez and his cat yearbook photo mission by joining him with her chihuahua, Vivienne.  The new group photo will appear in the yearbook along with a public service announcement in support of pet rescue and adoption.
